Dear resident,
This week a careers fair was held in the Great Hall at King's College in London for some of the capital's year 9 students.
The event was attended by representatives from many different industries and professions, and we were honoured to be invited along.
As well ask mingling with students, sharing stories about our roles and discussing the different entry routes into policing, Sergeant Noon participated in a Q&A where the audience asked him numerous questions about modern policing and crime. It was great to see so many young people engaged and inquisitive about our work.
We want the Metropolitan Police to be made up of Londoners from all walks of life, so these events are invaluable for getting our message out and opening young eyes the opportunities within policing. Thanks to Madeleine at KCL for organising a superb event.
